New Library Database: CINAHL Plus Full Text

January 7, 2008

This is to let you know that the Library has upgraded its subscription to CINAHL to CINAHL Plus Full Text.  Changes have been made to the Databases page and the database information page to reflect this change in name and additional content.  There is an additional entry on the Databases page under Nursing and Allied Health Literature (CINAHL Plus Full Text).

CINAHL Plus Full Text is an expanded version of the original CINAHL (Cumulative Index to Nursing & Allied Health Literature) database. It provides authoritative coverage of the literature related to nursing and allied health, and it also indexes publications of the American Nurses Association, the National League for Nursing, and selected journals in the areas of consumer health, biomedicine, and health sciences librarianship.  CINAHL Plus Full Text includes the full text for more than 560 journals. Of those, nearly 400 have cover-to-cover indexing, and of those, more than 230 are not available with full text from any other EBSCO database. It also contains Evidence-Based Care Sheets and Quick Lessons and includes a Cited References Search screen.
